The remodel of this charming Broadmoor estate demonstrates how to respectfully modernize an old character home. It was paramount to maintain the old-world charm of this home while providing a contemporary way to live in the various rooms. Working in collaboration with architect Steve Hoedemaker, Garret Cord Werner completed updates that included a new master bathroom and updates to the kitchen and lighting. New furnishings were mixed with some of the clients’ existing pieces to meet their budget and maintain personalization. In the kitchen, the existing built-in breakfast nook was updated, and a bar was added for entertaining.
