The interiors of this highly detailed condo were a design collaboration between Steve Hoedemaker & Garret Cord Werner. It was designed for a retired couple that wanted to capture the essence of their previous lakefront residence. The clients wanted a high level of architectural detail, ample storage, and multiple areas to display their specialized art collection. Materials were chosen to be slightly rustic, warm, and tactile, with a very sophisticated application. The condo was designed like that of a yacht, where every square inch was carefully utilized and executed with storage in walls and extensive use of cabinetry. There is almost no drywall used in the home to create crisp and detailed walls. Bronze was used as base and casing for all areas. Soft tones and sumptuous materials combine to form a peaceful and comforting atmosphere.
