Originally designed by a noted northwest architect in 1971, the client wished to keep the mid-century character of the home, while bringing in modern conveniences and comforts. At the top of Magnolia, there are panoramic views of the sound from the primary bedroom, kitchen, and living all the way from West Seattle to downtown Seattle. The original vaulted ceiling will be preserved in pure grain cedar. The grandfather Scots pine tree will remain in place as a natural focal point.
