Downtown Seattle Condo

The client for this very opulent downtown penthouse specifically wanted an Art Deco inspired space that was not busy. Working from a bare unbuilt condo shell Garret Cord Werner completed the architecture and interiors. Birds eye maple mill-work was used to create the architectural backdrop for the various spaces and to provide the requested storage. Some of the specialty furniture items include a burled walnut & Macassar wood, ebony, mother of pearl, and carved glass console in the living room to a lemon wood dining table with accompanying white gold gilded chairs and Murano glass chandelier in the dining. This project was completed in 2001 and was named home of the year by Seattle Homes & Lifestyles Magazine.
