Bear Gulch Pavilion

This rural residence designed by Garret Cord Werner Architects & Interior Designers sits at the rear of a spacious, linear lot. A central, linear water feature acts as a unifying element in the home, with the separate parts of the program located around the water. Infinity pools follow the entry sequence, guiding visitors up to the transparent vestibule. In the center of all the living spaces sits a reflection pool, a calm body of water that acts as an extension of the interior. The water terminates at the rear of the site in the form of a swimming pool, a cleansing body of water to refresh the mind in. Floor to ceiling glazing provides a sense of connectivity between the exterior, the interior, and the living spaces, blending the tranquility of the water with the home and its surroundings.
